House Committee Officially Begins Process To ReleaseTheMemo

The hashtag #ReleaseTheMemo, created after outraged Republican lawmakers exposed the existence of a top secret memo detailing serious surveillance abuse by top officials in the Obama administration, has paid off.

Republican lawmakers who have read the memo said it is something all Americans need to see, saying this is “bigger than Watergate” and even worse than a government shutdown. Specifically, the memo reportedly details FISA abuse committed by some of the top officials in Obama’s Justice Department and FBI.

On Saturday, Representative Dave Joyce (R-OH) announced that the House Intel Committee has been the official process to release the classified FISA memo that allegedly is so incriminating against the Obama administration, that Fox News contributor Sara Carter claimed it could bring the investigation by Robert Mueller to an end, while other congressmen said it could land people in the DOJ and FBI in jail.

Joyce made the announcement on Twitter.

Great news! Our efforts to #ReleaseTheMemo have been effective and the HPSIC plans to begin the process to release the FBI/FISA/Russia memo. This may take up to 19+ Congressional work days but Americans deserve to know the truth.

The letter was signed by Steve King, Matt Gaetz, Mark Meadows, Jim Jordan, Andy Biggs, Scott Perry, Ted Yoho, Jody Hice, Louie Gohmert, Barry Loudermilk and Brian Babin.

According to Fox News contributor Sara Carter, the contents of the memo are so “explosive,” that it could end special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia probe. Additionally, the memo’s release could lead to the prosecution of top FBI and Justice Department officials, says Carter.
