President Donald Trump raised eyebrows Thursday, shaking up the immigration conversation with a reported reference to people coming to the United States from “s**t-hole countries.”
He caught the attention of former first daughter Chelsea Clinton, who responded via Twitter:
Mr. President, immigrants from El Salvador, Haiti and the 54 countries in Africa likely helped build your buildings. They’ve certainly helped build our country. cc @POTUS https://t.co/hv1QYRoRy3

There are some moments when it’s better to keep quiet. For Chelsea Clinton, this is one of those moments.
Following the 2010 earthquake, the Clinton State Department funneled billions of dollars to rebuild Haiti. At the same time, Secretary Clinton’s brother, Tony Rodham, and high-profile Clinton Foundation donors won lucrative contracts that siphoned massive profits from the impoverished island nation. Bill Clinton was co-chairman of the Interim Haiti Recovery Commission. Under his watch, 9 percent of foreign aid cash went to the Haitian government, and only 0.6 percent went to local organizations. The Clintons’ involvement in Haiti has been a regular source of frustration among the Haitian community. Haitians in the US have organized repeated protests outside the Clinton Foundation’s offices in Manhattan.
A WikiLeaks email dump in November 2016 revealed Chelsea likely used money from the Clinton Foundation to bankroll her big wedding, complete with two extravagant Vera Wang gowns and held at the lavish Astor Courts Estate in Rhinebeck, New York.
In a series of emails, a former top aide to Bill Clinton and a former Clinton Global Initiative board member, Doug Band, complained about Chelsea.
James Woods moved in with a kill shot and responded.
“Tell your dad, the bagman, to give the dough back to Haiti that you all pocketed. Then maybe we can discuss this other malarkey you’re trying to peddle.
