Liberals Attack Melania Trump For Reading The Lord’s Prayer at Florida Rally


After First Lady Melania Trump opened President Donald Trump’s campaign rally Saturday in Melbourne, Florida, with “The Lord’s Prayer,” Liberals are attacking First Lady on social media, disparaging for her religious faith, her accent, and other things. Prior to her husband, President Donald Trump, taking stage before the more than 9,000 person crowd, Melania went on stage to a thunderous applause. She began Trump’s rally by delivering the prayer, which Christians – many of whom recite the prayer in church each week.
Before introducing her husband, the first lady described the country she and the president envision as “one that works for all Americans … and where all Americans can work and succeed.”  “A nation committed to a great civility and unity between people from all sides of the political divide,” she said. The first lady then made a passing reference to recent attacks aimed on her, saying she will “always be truthful” with the American people “no matter what the opposition is saying about me.”

Leftists on social media tore into First Lady Melania Trump, mocking her accent and religion and branding her everything from a hostage to a whore – all for the secular offense of reciting “The Lord’s Prayer.”

The first lady has been a rare presence with her husband since the inauguration. To the dismay of some critics, she has decided to continue living at their palatial residence in Trump Tower in New York until their 10-year-old son Barron finishes the school year. Purists and traditionalists have been disappointed that the first lady has not kept with precedent and immediately joined her husband in the White House residence.
