Michael Moore: ‘I Refuse to Live in a Country Where Trump Is President, Bur I’m Not Leaving’

The filmmaker and Ultra -left political activist Michael Moore says that he refuse “to live in a country where Donald Trump is president.”

He appeared on Colbert’s show and the two of them went off on President Trump yet again. Stephen Colbert began the interview by congratulating Moore for correctly predicting the outcome of the election. Colbert noted that President Trump has three-and-a-half more years to go in his first term. “Do you think he makes it another three and a half years?” he asked Moore.

“I refuse to live in a country where Donald Trump is president and I’m not leaving,” the 63-year-old filmmaker said during his appearance “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.”

“So somethings gotta change,” he added. “We have to form an army of citizens and come at him like a swarm of bees where he’s hit one way, all the way. Because I think the way to bring him down is with satire.”

“And, frankly, I suggested a few months ago that we have an army of satire, because I think the way to bring him down is with satire. His thin skin, as you pointed out so well, is so thin, all we need is 1,000 or a million little comedy shivs. Just— nonviolent, don’t hurt him, but just under his skin because he can’t take being laughed at.”

During the interview, Moore also blamed Democrats for Hillary Clinton’s defeat, saying they ignored Rust Belt voters and need to acknowledge middle-America in order to move forward.

“Clinton lost by 11,000 votes in Michigan.Ninety thousand Michiganders voted for every office and every ballot proposal on both sides of the ballot and refused to vote for president.” Those voters refused to vote for Trump, but they also “were not going to participate in what they saw as a system that had left them forgotten and at bay.” Moore said.

Clinton lost, Trump won and Moore can’t stand it. HE SHOULD EITHER GET OVER IT OR LEAVE.
