WATCH: McDonald’s Employee To Latino Customer “Can you spell ‘DEPORTATION’

An employee working at a North Carolina McDonald’s was fired after she was captured on video asking a customer Saturday to spell “deportation.”

Wendy Rios got in the drive-thru line at a McDonald’s in Charlotte, North Carolina, with the intention to just get a No. 9 and a Happy Meal for her two daughters. However, her visit left her far from happy when the employee, who is seen in the video proceeds to make an obscene hand gesture, followed by Donald Trump remarks and asking Rios to spell ‘deportation’. In video, a female employee in a green shirt can be seen giving customer the middle finger before asking her to move. The employee then asked if could pronounce the name “Donald Trump” several times. Rios ignored the request, and the employee asked if Rios could spell “deportation” instead.

“Can you say, ‘Donald Trump’? Donald Trump. Donald Trump, Donald Trump, Donald Trump, Yes, Donald Trump, Donald Trump. Can you say ‘Donald Trump’?” the employee is heard saying. “You holding up my line, lady.”

“You can stay there all you want. Can you say ‘deportation’? Can you say that? Can you spell ‘deportation’?” the employee can be heard saying. “What you need to do is you need to get the f— on. That’s what you need to do,” the employee concluded before slamming the drive-thru window.

Rios posted the video on her Facebook page, where it has been viewed over 440,000 times and shared over 5,000 times as of Wednesday.

George Forrest, the owner of the restaurant, has since responded to the video, and said the employee in question has been fired.

“The actions of this employee are inexcusable and in no way reflect the strong values McDonald’s and my organization place on diversity, inclusion and providing a welcoming experience for our customers,” Forrest said in a statement. “This individual is no longer employed at my restaurant and we have expressed our sincerest apologies to the customer for this situation.”
