During an event in Mumbai, India with Bollywood stars, Hillary Clinton was reportedly introduced as the “woman who should have been the president of the United States of America” and she told those gathered that America “did not deserve” President Trump.
She was asked if America deserved Trump after the event’s host remarked “it’s commonly said that countries deserve the governments they get.”
“Well, I would have to say no, we did not deserve that,” Clinton replied.
Clinton also managed to insult Trump voters, suggesting racism and sexism were big motivators for their vote.
“His whole campaign: ‘Make America Great Again’ was looking backwards. You know, you didn’t like black people getting rights, you don’t like women, you know, getting jobs, you don’t want to you know see that Indian American succeeding more than you are, whatever your problem is, I’m going to solve it.’ So it was a symptom.”
She added that she was on the way to winning the election outright until former FBI Director James Comey authored a letter about her that went public in late October 2016.
Later, Clinton was asked about suspicions of collusion with Russia and what Trump thinks of people like Vladimir Putin and other authoritarian-type leaders.
“Trump does have quite an affinity for dictators,” Clinton said. “He really likes their authoritarian posture and behavior.”
What a shame Hillary Clinton lost the election. America has really missed out on what she brings to the global stage. Check this out:
