25-year-old conservative pundit Tomi Lahren has landed a contributor on Fox News, primarily offering her opinions on Sean Hannity’s prime time show Hannity. In addition to her role as a
contributor, Lahren will also have a “signature role” on a Fox News digital product in development, according to a press release issued by the network.
“FOX News Channel (FNC) has signed conservative commentator Tomi Lahren as a contributor. Lahren will have a signature role on an FNC digital product currently in development and will also offer
political commentary to the network’s opinion programming, primarily Hannity,” a release from the network states.
“I am blessed and honored to join the Fox News team,” Lahren wrote on Facebook. “This exciting new step will allow me to give voice to all the America-loving patriots who have had my back since
Lahren was suspended by TheBlaze earlier this year after expressing her support for abortion on “The View,” leading to a lawsuit against her former employer that was settled in May. Prior to
TheBlaze, she hosted “On Point with Tomi Lahren” on One America News Network. Lahren debuts in her new role as an opinion contributor on Sean Hannity’s show at 10 p.m. on Wednesday.
In her debut Hannity warned Rivera that he was going, for obvious reasons, to call on Lahren first,
“I’m gonna go to her first all the time,” Hannity threatened.
“I would hope so,” said Rivera, who—let’s be honest—looks miraculously well-preserved. “So would I.”
“Welcome to the Fox News Channel,” Hannity added. “Our audience is very familiar with you—you’ve been on a ton of times before.”
“Welcome, Tomi,” Rivera crooned. “Although I obviously disagree with many of her political positions, I think she has intelligence, she’s reasonable, and she’s got, most importantly, to me and
you, true grit.”
Lahren is a graduate of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and holds a degree in broadcast journalism and political science.
